Sunwing Offering Roatan

Sunwing says it will be offering exclusive vacation packages to the newly-renovated Fantasy Island Beach Resort, Dive and Marina in Roatan, Honduras.

Vacationers looking to get away this winter can be some of the first to experience the modernized rooms, some of which include an ocean view, among many other family-friendly features available on the ecological playground.

Located on a private 21-acre island with three secluded beaches, thie property will make sea explorers right at home with its convenient location on the shores of the second-largest barrier reef in the world, in addition to offering a variety of dive packages.
As part of Sunwing’s collection of Smile Resort, the resort offers a number of family-friendly perks, such as Kids Stay, Play, and Eat FREE deals, no single supplement, and the SMILE Kids Club program.

Families can unwind with views of the Atlantic Ocean from either one of three pristine beaches or the balcony of their recently upgraded accommodations.

In addition, kids can walk along the beaches while searching for Capuchin monkeys and iguanas, or visit the onsite mini zoo to meet more native mammals, reptiles, and birds. Fantasy Island provides an opportunity to discover the ecological setting, known for its wildlife, diving, and the Mesoamerican Reef.

Intrepid guests can participate in many excursions, from swimming with whale sharks to snorkelling or kayaking the Caribbean Sea and horseback riding along the coast.

The resort has designed new dive packages for the upcoming winter season that further explore the ship wrecks and sea life scattered throughout the waters.

Sunwing’s vacation packages to Roatan begin Dec. 11 from Montreal and Dec. 18 from Toronto.

Also on Dec. 18 and for the first time, Sunwing will have exclusive flights to Roatan from Quebec City and Bagotville, Quebec.

All Roatan flight packages will run through until the end of April.
