Sunwing Releases New Groups Guide, Agent Incentives
Sunwing has released the latest edition of its Groups Guide, a comprehensive travel agent resource offering insider tips, exclusive perks and savings opportunities on group vacation and cruise packages.
The tour operator is offering agents the chance to win big in 2019. The STARMillionaire program is returning for another year, giving agents the opportunity to win one million STAR Agent Reward Points that convert to cash (a cash value of $1,800). Agents have the chance to win when they book a group of 10 adults or more by Aug. 27. The more group bookings agents make, the more chances they have to win.
Agents can help their groups “Vacation Better” with new exclusive pricing and special offers. New to the Groups Guide is the “Book 10, Hold 20” promotion; when an agent books 10 seats for any group type with a reduced deposit, they can hold an additional 20 seats with no deposit required. Seats may be held for 60 days or up until 120 days before departure (whichever comes first). Plus, groups can add up to double their original group size at the original contracted rate (maximum of 50 guests total or 20 guests total for cruise packages).
Returning for a second year is Sunwing’s Groups Plus Premium, a collection of more than 180 properties offering special concessions and competitive inclusions exclusive to Sunwing groups customers. In addition, groups still enjoy all the same benefits of Groups Plus including private transfers with a minimum of 15 passengers arriving on the same flight, complimentary room upgrades for the group leader and rooms located in the same area of the hotel. Plus, when eight adults or more travel together, one adult can travel for free.
Attractive group pricing is also available on cruise packages with MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Marella Cruises when upwards of eight guests cruise together. Plus, when agents book a group cruise package by Aug. 27 for sailings between Nov. 1 and April 30, 2020 they can earn 10X STAR Agent Reward Points that convert to cash and the 16th adult can travel for free (including air, cabin and pier transfers).
The Sunwing Platinum Club is also back for 2019 with a chance for agents to earn free seats, Elite Plus upgrades and excursion credits.
