Talk Is In The Air

A select group of about 50 airline industry types were on hand for the third annual Airline Managers’ luncheon in Toronto this week.

The event, sponsored by Baxter Travel Media and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), featured presentations by AirTrav Inc.’s Rob Kokonis and IATA’s Nicola Colville on a range of subjects.

Kokonis offered an overview of the low cost and ultra low cost airline landscape in Canada, while Colville provided some insights into IATA’s innumerable activities in the Canadian marketplace.

And the GTAA’s Lauren Yaksich talked to those on hand about all of the changes taking place at Toronto’s Pearson Airport.
