New-look Trafalgar got a little help from its friends last night as the tour operator rolled out its 2017 Britain & Europe program for VIP trade guests last night (Oct. 3) in Toronto.

Visit Scotland and, more importantly, the Glenlivet distillery, were on hand to highlight the destination and offer samples of and expert tasting tips on the country’s most precious export – Scotch.

Meanwhile, Trafalgar Canada president Wolf Paunic revealed the new clean, streamlined look of Trafalgar’s branding, along with its evolution to a “lifestyle” rather than simply motorcoach brand, and to present the new brochure, featuring prices as much as 20% below 2016.

Special guest Brett Tollman, chief executive of Trafalgar’s parent company, The Travel Corporation, was on hand for what he vowed would be an annual visit to Canada, and particularly urged travellers and the trade to continue supporting destinations like Paris, Brussels and Istanbul after recent bombings in the cities.
