TDC Giving Back To The Industry to Mark Travel Advisor Day
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) is marking National Travel Advisor Day with a special initiative. TDC is offering the entire Canadian travel professional community the opportunity to rekindle their spark by attending a complimentary virtual conference with renowned speaker Isabelle Fontaine on Monday, May 12.
Karine Gagnon, General Manager of TDC, explains that: “At TDC, people are our top priority. At the heart of the travel experience are the travelers themselves, who enjoy the products offered by our valued partners. But first and foremost are the travel professionals. Every day, these women and men build trips and, above all, bring them to life for their customers.
Gagnon continues: “They put a part of themselves into their work, adding all their knowledge, experience, and, above all, their immense passion. And this year, with this unique initiative, TDC wanted to take the lead in bringing together travel professionals across the country, regardless of whether they are members of the TDC network or not, to collectively celebrate this wonderful profession and shine a spotlight on the passionate men and women who create dreams for their customers every day.”
She goes on to say that “of course, the words of appreciation shared each year in connection with this day are essential. But sometimes, taking concrete action by giving back to others embodies things even better. And that’s the extra step we wanted to take this year, to allow these extraordinary professionals to recharge their batteries. And there is no one better suited than renowned speaker Isabelle Fontaine to carry out this mission: to recharge batteries. To say thank you. To move people. To rekindle a spark.”
Speaker Isabelle Fontaine observes that: “Inspiring, motivating, and energizing people is what I am passionate about in life. It’s what I do every day, and it’s what energizes me in turn. It’s truly a win-win relationship.”
Fontaine says that: “In this era of uncertainty, coming together with our peers, even virtually, creates a powerful sense of community. Recharging our batteries and rekindling the spark that makes us want to get up every morning is part of a healthy lifestyle. We have to think about ourselves if we want to be there for others, which is why I think it’s fantastic that TDC is giving back to these people who spend their lives lighting up their customers’ eyes.”
