TDC launches web solutions for TravelPlus members

Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), based on the success this past year of the Club Voyage and Marlin Travel customized web solution, is offering their proprietary sales and marketing web platform to TravelPlus and TDC affiliated members. The web strategy bridges the customer interface seamlessly between bricks and mortar and online retailing. “With over 84% of the leisure travel consumer shopping online, we have placed our professional travel consultants directly into that path. The TDC web site includes not only an agency web site, but individual agent pages as well. This allows them to easily reach the online consumer,”says Yves Lalumière, president of TDC. The customized bilingual web site has options for dual branding for TravelPlus members and the affiliated members have their own brand identity. Pre-designed marketing templates are easy to populate without the need for technology expertise. Transat Distribution has partnered with Soft Voyage to power the booking engine and Revelex for the cruise content. “Our Marlin and Club Voyage professional travel consultants that have been using the new TDC Web system this past year, are reporting new customer leads, group inquiries and the ability to offer any channel selection for their existing customers.
