TICO conviction

Following an ex-parte trial, Antreas Vassilioy has been convicted on one count of operating as a travel agent without registration contrary to the Ontario Travel Industry Act. Vassilioy operated in Toronto and elsewhere in Ontario. Financial losses for victims amounted to approximately $18,000. Vassilioy was sentenced to 30 days in jail and a warrant was issued for his arrest. (http://www.tico.ca)
