TICO Hosts Industry Forum Sessions

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) is once again hosting a series of “Industry Forums” to share information and secure input from registrants and travel agents.

In these sessions, TICO will be presenting information on its mandate and current initiatives and will seek feedback on a variety of issues of importance to the Ontario Travel industry.

Input received from participants at these forums has had significant impact on the way TICO communicates and works with the industry and promotes the industry to the public. Similarly, participants have gained increased insight into being part of a regulated industry and the value of associating their business with TICO. Space is limited so participants will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no fee to attend and meals and refreshments will be provided during the sessions.

Any TICO registrant or travel agent working for a TICO registrant can register to attend one of the sessions. Registration can be done online by e-mailing tico@tico.ca or by phone at 905-624-6241, ext. 233 or toll free at 1-888-451-8426, ext 233.

Forum dates are as follows: Toronto, Sept. 16, Toronto Marriott Downtown

Eaton Centre Hotel, 6 p.m. To 9 p.m.; Toronto/Mississauga, Sept. 17, TICO Offices, Mississauga, 6 p.m. To 9 p.m.; Oakville, Sept. 24, Holiday Inn Oakville (Centre), Oakville, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
