TICO is once again reaching out to the industry to share information and obtain feedback.
As part of its ongoing engagement campaign, TICO will be holding “Information and Roundtable Sessions” to gain insight from industry members. The sessions are an opportunity for industry personnel to receive valuable information as well as ask questions, provide feedback and network with peers.
TICO will present information on its current initiatives including its consumer awareness campaign promoting Ontario travel agents and address the growing issue of fraud in the industry, including tips on avoiding fraud.
The sessions are free of charge and all Ontario travel agency owners and travel agents are welcome to attend.
The schedule is as follows (all events are from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.): Toronto/Mississauga, March 14, TICO offices; Toronto/Scarborough, March 16, Radisson Hotel Toronto East; Toronto/Mississauga, March 22, TICO offices; Ajax, March 29, Hilton Garden Inn; Windsor, March 30, Holiday Inn & Suites; Cambridge/Kitchener, March 31, Four Points By Sheraton.
