The San Francisco Travel Association has unveiled the 2017 edition of its new Travel Planner’s Guide.

It’s available free of charge for travel agents, tour operators and other travel professionals.

The 2017 edition of the San Francisco Travel Planner’s Guide has been completely redesigned and updated, the 104-page guide offers listings for more than 1,100 partners of San Francisco Travel, San Francisco’s official destination marketing organization.

The guide includes several new features that include a completely revamped itinerary section, which offers suggestions ranging from arts and culture excursions and foodie-based adventures to a day of family fun or a one-day shopping spree; profiles on 66 points of interest keyed to a map of San Francisco to help guide clients around San Francisco; a long-range calendar of events through 2017; 2017’s top art museum exhibitions; and FAQs about San Francisco including how to secure a marriage license, weather and wardrobe tips.

More than 60 sightseeing companies are profiled including details on FIT tours ranging from tours of the Haight-Ashbury to learn more about the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love coming up in 2017 to a tasty trek to some of San Francisco’s famed markets and gourmet shops.

Detailed information on hotel accommodations, special event facilities and restaurant banquet space in and around San Francisco is also included.
