Topdeck Moves Into Asia

Topdeck Travel, which specializes in trips for 18- to 30-somethings, is expanding its global reach with the launch of 11 new trips in Asia.

The program adds a new continent to the tour operator’s current mix of destinations, spanning Europe, Australia & New Zealand, North America, Egypt & the Middle East and Africa. Trips feature smaller group sizes and local guides for an authentic Asian experience.

Topdeck’s global brand director, Sarah Clark, said the decision to move into Asia was part of a bigger growth plan to meet the demands of the youth travel market.

“The results from our Global Youth Travel Survey saw more than 31,000 people respond with the common trend being that Asia was the next sought after destination,” said Clark. “Topdeckers can expect three-, four-star hotels including pools, rooftop bars and twin share accommodation – a great example of Topdeck’s one size doesn’t fit all mantra.”

She added, “We choose vehicles relevant to the area such as bullet trains in Japan, tuk tuks in Vietnam and ferries in Thailand, as well as using modern purpose built air-conditioned coaches.”

All 11 trips across eight countries have been carefully selected to give future Topdeckers the chance to ski in Hakuba, experience the energetic Ho Chi Minh City, laze on the beaches in Seminyak and see Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Clark recommends the 27-day Indochina and Thailand trip as a great way to explore Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Bangkok.

To celebrate its Asia launch, Topdeck is offering a 25% discount for all departures before June 30, 2016 and a 15% launch deal paid in full by 15 January 2016 for departures after July 1, 2016.
