Toronto, YVR agents invited to Bestway launches
Bestway Tours & Safaris is promoting a Feb. 15 to March 3 India tour which has dates timed to coincide with the Ravi Shankar Music Academy’s celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the birth of George Harrison. Harrison was the Beatles’ lead guitarist and a personal friend of Ravi Shankar. Upcoming Toronto and Vancouver launches will be accompanied by a multi-media audio and musical presentation presented by travel photographer Peter Langer and film producer and frequent India visitor Paul Saltzman. Door prizes in each city include one 14-day educational land package of Northern India for an agent and one companion and one 10-day educational land package of Southern India for an agent and one companion. The Toronto launch will be Sept. 25 and the Vancouver launch Oct. 2. Saltzman has over 300 productions to his credit. His most recent film, The Last White Knight, had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this month. He is also director-producer of the documentary, Prom Night in Mississippi, featuring Morgan Freeman, which was screened at the White House. Langer has had his images exhibited in several continents.
