Tourism HR Canada hosting information session on Propel Student Work Placement Program
The team from the Propel Student Work Placement Program at Tourism HR Canada will join Baxter Media live on May 14 at 1 p.m. EST for an informational Travel Webcast.
The Propel Student Work Placement Program makes it easy to connect with and recruit post-secondary students who are ready to apply their education and skills through work-integrated learning such as co-op placements, internships or practicums.
The Government of Canada provides wage subsidies to accommodations, food and beverage services, recreation and entertainment, transportation or travel services businesses to encourage them to hire early talent.
The information session will explain:
- What work-integrated learning is, why it matters and how it can benefit your business
- Who qualifies for the Propel program
- Where to post a job
- What documentation you’ll need
- How the Propel team can support you
- And more
