TPI: A BSAP Champion

Check out the Wanderlust Travel TPI team who recently hosted a celebratory lunch to toast the success of their second Baxter Student Ambassador Program intern, Katherine Lo (far left).

TPI is a champion of Baxter Travel Media’s annual Baxter Student Ambassador Program, which is the only travel and tourism student mentoring program of its kind in Canada, offering learning and networking opportunities for aspiring travel industry professionals.

As a 2017 BSAP winner, Katherine won the opportunity to participate in a 6-week internship with sponsor, TPI at Wanderlust Travel in Oakville under seasoned travel advisor, Anne Barclay.

After the completion of her internship she’s heading to Amsterdam to represent Ryerson at the Genio Worldwide Innovation Summit at Hotelschool the Hague.

With the support of our loyal industry sponsors like TPI again in 2017/18, winning Ambassadors will choose from a list of once-in-a-lifetime internship or travel opportunities at partner organizations where they too will gain hands-on experience as they begin their exciting travel careers.

If you want to participate in BSAP, send a note to BSAP Program Director, Wendy McClung, at [email protected] to discuss how you can get involved.
