In celebration of its 2014 Europe product launch, Trafalgar is sponsoring a three-city tour with New York Times best-selling author, Patricia Schultz. More than three million copies of her “1,000 Places to See Before You Die” book have been sold. “For Trafalgar, travel is all about the aspiration of discovering a new world and immersing oneself in local experiences around the globe, and Patricia is a fantastic champion for our brand and ambassador to the travel industry,” says Doug Patterson, president of Trafalgar Canada. The tour begins Oct. 3 in Calgary at the Martha Cohen Theatre, with further stops including Toronto’s Winter Garden Theatre on Oct. 8 and Montreal’s Ludger-Duvernay Theatre on Oct. 10.
During presentations, Schultz will share her favourite places to visit and personal travel stories, “from the humorous to the insightful to the truly inspiring.
