Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) has launched a new outside sales agent program – Transat Travel Agent@Home, aimed at home-based travel sales professionals.
“The launch of our new Transat Travel Agent@Home program is a real commitment to the fastest-growing segment in our industry,” says Joseph Adamo, general manager, TDC. “With this new robust and agent-friendly program, we now round out TDC’s lineup of value propositions: from branded franchise locations to affiliate member agencies and now independent agents who can rely on our industry-leading programs and support.”
With Transat Travel Agent@Home, member sales agents will benefit from the strength and credibility of the Transat Travel flagship brand. They will be able to offer customers the full range of Transat holiday travel products, including Transat Travel Insurance, gift cards, and the Air Miles Reward Program.
According to officials, Agent@Home is an extensive program that delivers “best-in-class benefits to agents, including superior commissions, support and training on products, a professional Web presence, as well as an exclusive insurance and incentive plan.”
Agents will also have access to Transat’s marketing campaigns and customer relationship marketing (CRM) tools, such as the Star Traveller rewards program, allowing them to recognize their best customers.
TDC already hosts more than 100 outside agents, who are self-employed travel professionals benefiting from substantial experience, expertise and background knowledge.
