Transat to introduce compensation plan

Starting Nov. 1, Transat will introduce a new compensation plan for travellers affected by an advanced flight schedule change on South, Florida and Europe flights, packages and cruises. The new policy applies to all bookings made with Transat Holidays, Nolitours, Transat Découvertes (Quebec) or Transat Discoveries (Ontario) with Air Transat or CanJet flights. “Clients’ concerns are our top priority. In order to be even more proactive, we are implementing a new compensation plan to ensure peace of mind every step of the way,”says Denise Heffron, vice-president, National Sales & Commercial. “This new plan will take the customer experience to a whole new level by offering immediate compensation and making a worry-free vacation easier than ever.”Compensation will be provided for any advanced flight schedule change of over three hours, made within 45 days of departure. Vouchers are applicable to future bookings made with Transat Holidays, Nolitours, Transat Découvertes (Quebec) or Transat Discoveries (Ontario) with Air Transat or CanJet flights.
