Travel Nevada supports Canadian advisors with Western Canada Roadshow

Travel Nevada and its partners conducted a Western Canada road show to Calgary from March 29-31, Red Deer and Edmonton on April 1, and Vancouver on April 2 to show Canadian travel advisors they value their partnership and are focused on a long-term relationship.

Over the course of the week, Travel Nevada connected with 130 travel advisors and trade partners. Travel Nevada’s road show partners included: Las Vegas Territory, Visit Lake Tahoe, Travel North Tahoe Nevada, Reno-Tahoe, Reno Tahoe Territory, Visit Fallon, The Attractions Group and Bramer Tours.

Also exhibiting at the Calgary Outdoor Adventure Show, Travel Nevada brought a bit of fun to Western Canada as it showed trade and consumers how to Get A Little Out Therein Nevada with its branded Boler trailer which proved a popular photo booth.

For its Get A Little Out There travel trade events, Travel Nevada partnered with their visiting delegation on prize trip giveaways to Nevada, including airfare, which were won by Ken Stewart, Crowfoot Travel Solutions in Calgary; Claudine Dafonseca, Centre Holidays in Edmonton, and Sarah Colibaba, Uniglobe Carefree Travel Group in Vancouver.

Travel Nevada also launched a new contest exclusively for travel advisors: Road Trip With Travel Nevada Trailblazers.

Now through April 30, 2025, travel advisors who complete the Nevada Trailblazers specialist program certification can enter for a chance to win a FAM trip to Nevada. Throughout the four-week contest, travel advisors can continue to enter each week for extra entries.

Travel Nevada has curated 10 road trips across the state to encourage consumers to Get A Little Out There and travel advisor education centres on these itineraries. For example, themes range from neon to nature, national parks, cowboy culture, extraterrestrial activity, and more.

The Nevada Trailblazers program continues to see registration and completion as Canadian travel advisors build their knowledge of Nevada. Canada is Nevada’s top international market and the travel trade remain crucial partners to maintaining long-term investment in the market.
