Travel Solo With Contiki

There’s no doubt about it.

Young Canadian travellers are more open than ever to travelling solo, whether that’s due to the “live your best life” culture, complications in coordinating an entire group of friends between vacation days, budgets and bucket list wishes or the desire to fulfil one’s wanderlust.

So knowing that 55% of Contiki travellers are travelling solo, the tour company has launched its brand new Travel Solo campaign that encourages young clients to step out of their comfort zone and literally fly solo.

From now until May 31, 2019, clients can save 10% on select Contiki adventures around the world and explore Contiki-style with a group of like-minded travellers sharing the same passion for real experiences, lasting memories and making every moment count.

Agents can also champion solo travel by helping clients find their Contiki families and booking solo passengers for the chance to win Solo Beats, as the two agents who book the most passengers in May will win their own set of Beats Solo headphones.

Sheralyn Berry, president for Contiki Canada, observed: “Travel is an experience best shared and travelling with Contiki connects young clients to forever friendships, turning the experience of a lifetime into a lifetime of experiences.”

Berry pointed out that: “The number one thing past Contiki clients rave about is the life-long friendships they make along the way, and our trips really provide the ideal adventure, giving solo travellers the opportunity to make connections with like-minded people from around the world.”

And she added: “Whether they are seeking epic experiences or are going it alone because their friends are busy with work, babies or have budget concerns, booking a Contiki adventure is the best way to ensure clients get to travel with #NoRegrets.”

In its new campaign, Contiki showcases 24 of its most popular trips worldwide, covering clients favourite destinations and off-the-beaten-path hidden gems.

For on the featured trips throughout Europe, Northern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America, agents can go to or talk to their Contiki Sales Manager.
