TravelBrands execs Elvi Cal & Lina Côté set to retire in 2025

TravelBrands has announced the upcoming retirement of two esteemed industry leaders, Elvi Cal and Lina Côté, who will retire in 2025 after decades of dedicated service to the travel industry.

Their extraordinary careers and lasting contributions have left an indelible mark on both TravelBrands and the broader travel landscape.

Their legacy is woven into every success we’ve achieved, and their influence will continue to resonate long after they’ve moved on. Elvi Cal – Senior Vice President, Product & Commercial – 38 years – Retiring July 31, 2025
Elvi has been a cornerstone of TravelBrands, spearheading product innovation, building strategic partnerships, and leading with integrity and passion. His deep expertise and collaborative approach have played a pivotal role in defining TravelBrands’ success. For many, Elvi has not only been a leader but also a mentor and a trusted colleague.
While Elvi will retire from his full-time position, he will continue to support TravelBrands as an independent consultant. His continued involvement will provide invaluable insights and ensure that the strong relationships he built over the years are sustained.
Lina Côté – Director of Sales, TravelBrands – 23 years – Retiring June 30, 2025
Lina has been an inspiration to all who have had the privilege of working with her. Throughout her 43- year career in the travel industry, with nearly half of that time spent at TravelBrands, she has been a steadfast advocate for travel agents. Known for her calm demeanour and results-driven approach, Lina has earned the respect of her colleagues and peers alike. Her dedication to supporting and empowering travel agents, along with her genuine care for people and deep respect for the travel industry, have been central to her success. In retirement, Lina will continue to contribute as an independent consultant, providing valuable expertise and support.
TravelBrands would like to extend its heartfelt thanks for their dedication, hard work, and the lasting legacies they leave behind. Their influence has touched not only TravelBrands but the travel industry as a whole.
