TravelBrands cares about children’s health and until Aug. 31 agents are invited to donate their Loyalty Rewards points towards the SickKids Foundation and TravelBrands will double the donation.
Donations starting at $5 will be matched.
Each year, TravelBrands conducts a number of events with employees and partners to raise money and awareness to SickKids. This includes an Annual 5 km Employee Walk, participation in the Mississauga Dragon Boat Race Festival and the Annual TravelBrands Charity Golf Classic. In 2016, TravelBrands raised $182,000, rounding out a total of $447,000 donated to the SickKids Foundation over the past three years.
All net proceeds will be contributed to the SickKids’ Labatt Family Heart Centre. These funds will support its goal of being the leading pediatric and congenital heart disease centre in the world. SickKids also assists in ensuring that all complications from being born with a heart defect do not stop its tiny patients from living full lives.
