TravelBrands Offers Free Portable GPS Rentals
Travellers can now receive free GPS rentals through TravelBrands, available with car rentals and assisting clients in ensuring they do not get lost on their vacations.
“We want to give travellers access to the world and make sure they don’t get lost along the way,” says Nathalie Tanious, vice-president, TravelBrands. “With just a $50 shipping fee, our rental option is far less expensive than GPS add-on options from local car rental suppliers.”
The portable GPS units are the latest widescreen Garmin Nuvi’s and are known as a must-have when travelling. A routing map for the client’s respective rental country and a free dash mount are included in the rental. Clients also have the option of purchasing a low-cost insurance in the event of lost or damaged equipment.
The free GPS rental offer is valid with Hertz rentals of seven days or longer. The device rentals require seven days advance notice in order to ship the equipment on time. The GPS rental is offered in rental regions including Canada, the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.
