travelcuts to Host Travel Documentary Film Festival
Canadian online travel specialist travelcuts is inviting Canadians to see the world and journey through some of the most obscure destinations via the first travelcuts Travel Doc Film Fest, “See The World Your Way.”
The festival, set for late November, will feature a four-part mini-series of videos that will put the audience in some of the earth’s most incredible, off-the-beaten-path places in Peru, Ecuador and Europe. Highlights will include a dune buggy ride in the most remote part of the desert and discovering never-before-seen waterfalls in the rain forest.
“The festival is a first for us and we hope it inspires young Canadians to discover new adventures and new parts of the world, as experiencing things for the first time is one of the most gratifying perks of travelling,” said Luisa Pannozzi, of Merit Travel Group, parent company of travelcuts.
Encouraging Canadians to travel the world, travelcuts also wants to see your off-the-beaten-path adventures. Through Oct. 31, travellers are invited to submit a short travel video for a chance to win a $2,000 travel card and an Optrix by Body Glove kit, as well as accessories for iPhone to capture every moment. The three best videos, chosen by a panel of travel experts, will be showcased at the festival. Canadians will pick the winner by voting for their favourite video via social media beginning Nov. 6-20.
