Treasures of the Japanese Renaissance

Tours Hai International has an April 6-25 tour of Japan that will be escorted primarily in French by the company’s Jean-Jacques Lefuel, who speaks fluent English and other languages as well. Treasures of the Japanese Renaissance will leave from Montreal with Air Canada, arriving in Tokyo, where temples, a shrine and the Imperial Palace will be among the sights seen. Other tour highlights include Mount Fuji and Kyoto, the latter famed for its many temples. Among the many other cities on the tour are Nara and Hiroshima, with the Hiroshima visit including time in the city’s Peace Park. Tours Hai notes that Japanese culture will figure prominently on the trip and “art masterpieces”will be viewed by the group which will also hear performances of Japanese music. There is a 20-passenger minimum for the tour. The package includes international flights between Japan and Canada with Air Canada and its partners, hotel accommodations, two nights in a traditional Ryokan with two meals at Lake Kawaguchi, at the base of Mount Fuji, 35 meals, ticket for the Miyako Odori, festival of Geishas dances in Kyoto, air-conditioned tour bus, exclusively for Tours Hai International, economy class bullet train tickets, airport-hotel roundtrip transfers by private bus, local French-speaking guide, transportation of luggage by truck from Kyoto to Hiroshima on April 23, handling of one piece of 20 kg luggage, and Tours Hai International travel bag. Not included are meals not mentioned, drinks, gratuities and expenses of a personal nature and travel insurance. (
