USVI in the Spotlight

USVI-April17

From shopping to sandy beaches to sailing excursions and savoury food, US Virgin Islands (USVI) Commissioner of Tourism Beverly Nicholson-Doty was in Toronto yesterday (April 16) to promote the uniqueness of St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas and Water islands.

“For those of you that haven’t been to the Virgin Islands, one of the things you really need to know is this is a destination where you can have multiple island experiences,” Nicholson-Doty said.

Noting constant parties, cultural events, eco-tourism and a rum distillery with a 400-year-old family heritage, she told gathered industry representatives, “there’s so many experiences that you can have all in a one week vacation.”
