Vacation.com Canada has introduced a wholesale initiative with SinglesCruise.com, the largest organizer of hosted singles cruises in the United States, giving its Canadian members the company’s portfolio of singles cruises at their fingertips to book.
In addition, Vacation.com members have a number of distinct advantages in targeting the lucrative singles market.
Throughout 2014 and beyond, Canadian Vacation.com members will receive a number of B2B marketing pieces about the SinglesCruise.com product and upcoming sailings. Plus, SinglesCruise.com will protect Vacation.com agents’ commissions, meaning that once a client books a SinglesCruise.com sailing through a Vacation.com member, even if that client books their next cruise while onboard, the agent will be notified and will receive the commission for that booking.
Highlights of the SinglesCruise.com product include:
!!! Ships featuring a variety of activities that are appealing to single cruisers.
!!! Friendly, experienced cruise hosts who lead special onboard events and ensure that all SinglesCruise.com guests feel welcome.
!!! A complete schedule of exclusive activities including: cocktail parties, group dining, theme nights, dance lessons, speed meeting, karaoke parties and more. All events are only open to SinglesCruise.com guests.
!!! Specially chosen shore excursions that interest the single traveler. These are available at an additional cost at competitive rates.
!!! Complimentary roommate matching. Upon request, SinglesCruise.com will assign guests a same-gender roommate to avoid the single supplement.
!!! Private online message boards and social media groups for singles to connect before their cruise and to keep friendships blooming after they return home.
“This new partnership between SinglesCruise.com and Vacation.com fits perfectly with our new brand philosophy of ‘Belong. Inspire. Grow.’ Cruising is an ideal getaway for solo travellers and we want to inspire them to travel and experience different parts of the world in a setting where they feel a sense of belonging. Vacation.com members will benefit in terms of added revenue and by having the opportunity to further cultivate the travel industry,” said Christine James, vice-president Canada, Vacation.com. “We are in a great position to work with SinglesCruise.com and expose them to a broad yet sometimes under-served segment of the population. With new marketing pieces available to members, a great new product to work with, and the possibility to earn enhanced commissions, our members will be able to undoubtedly build new relationships and gain new business.”
SinglesCruise.com has 11 sailings scheduled for the remainder of 2014 and into 2015 with more to come. Its most popular voyage each year is the Halloween cruise, which often welcomes more than 500 guests.
