Velas Vallarta Expands Family Offerings

In celebration of the New Year, Velas Vallarta, an all-suite resort in Puerto Vallarta, is debuting new family friendly offerings with a freshly designed Kids Club, new seasonal children’s spa treatments, expanded activities for children and parents, gourmet dining and more.

Led by the resort’s mascot turtle, Franki, the Kids’ Club program at Velas Vallarta now features a new dedicated children’s area with spots for arts and crafts, video games and movies. The entire family can enjoy new activities offered daily for children ages four to 12 and updated every season, including tennis clinics, cooking lessons, magic comedy, bonfires on the beach, Mexican bingo, karaoke and stone painting.

Also new for guests, Velas Vallarta is one of the only all-inclusive resorts in the area to offer an activity off-property complimentary, with its “City Tour & Shopping” to downtown Puerto Vallarta and “Cultural & Tequila Tour” to a genuine tequila distillery close to town.

During select times of the year, the resort will also offer special dedicated children’s spa packages, inside its rejuvenating spa including a foot massage, back massage, haircut, manicure and pedicure options to enjoy beside mom or dad.

Nightly themed entertainment includes a Mexican Fiesta with live music, traditional Mexican cuisine and local artisans every Sunday.

Overlooking Banderas Bay and tropical gardens, Velas Vallarta’s family suite accommodations with two and three bedrooms are suited for the whole family with amenities including kitchens, a dining area, separate living area and stocked mini bars in each suite.

Nightly rates start at US$173 per person per night, based on double occupancy.
