Vision Is Back At It In 2018

Vision Travel, a Direct Travel Company, continues to pursue its expansion strategy in key markets across Canada, agreeing to acquire Regina, Saskatchewan-based, Percy Hunt Travel Group.

The Percy Hunt Travel Group has 23 locations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

Its principals – Kevin Percy and Garry Huntington – have established themselves as leaders in travel throughout Central and Western Canada, specializing in both corporate travel management and leisure travel.

Commenting on the agreement, Percy, who’s president of the Group, said: “We are very excited to join the Vision Travel team and look forward to continued growth especially here in the West. Vision’s consistent growth over the past 18 years and their clear leadership in the industry made this a very straightforward decision.”

Huntington noted: “We see many synergies between our two companies and I am confident that our staff and our clients will see immediate benefits of being part of Vision Travel,” added Huntington. “We are specifically pleased about Virtuoso and what that means for our luxury clients.”

“With the addition of Percy Hunt and their locations, Vision Travel will now be firmly established with over 50 locations across Canada,” said Brian Robertson, president of Vision Travel (Ontario-West).

He continued: “We are delighted to welcome Kevin, Garry and their entire team into the Vision Travel family where we are confident they will continue to thrive as leading travel professionals.”

Percy will join the Vision Travel leadership team and will continue to oversee operations of the 23 locations and Huntington will join the Vision Travel regional management team as part of finance.

The agreement is scheduled to be finalized by Jan. 31, 2018 subject to customary conditions.
