Viva Las Selfies!

Museum of Selfies, an interactive museum that explores the history of the selfie, has announced its first location outside of California – in Las Vegas.

On the heels of the museum’s success opening a permanent location in Hollywood, California earlier this year, Museum of Selfies will open a location inside the Miracle Mile Shops on Oct. 25.

“We are so excited to expand the Museum of Selfie brand to Las Vegas,” said Kate Kutepova, co-founder of Museum of Selfies. “The iconic Las Vegas Strip is so Instagramable in itself, we can’t think of a better place to debut our next instalment.”

The new Las Vegas attraction will feature similar iconic photo opportunities as its Hollywood location including the two-sided illusion Bathroom Selfie, the iconic “GOT” Selfie Throne made up of selfie sticks, an Emoji Pool and the comically catastrophic David Accident. The interactive experience provides guests premium selfie opportunities featuring works from several visionary artists. Museum goers will leave with Instagram-worthy photos and a better understanding of the selfie and its meaning.

Hours of operation will be Sunday-Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – midnight. Tickets start at US$17 for children and US$23 for adults.
