These are exciting times for Saudia which launched thrice weekly service between Toronto and Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. The new flights will feature B-777-268 service with three classes and the SkyTeam member carrier is promising its passengers world-class service both in the air and on the ground.
In Toronto, following the Oct. 28, 2013 arrival of Saudia\’s first flight here, the airline celebrated with its business partners, with the carrier\’s director general, HE Eng. Khaled Al-Molhem telling the audience here that \”Our new flight to Toronto comes as part of our efforts to strengthen our international presence and serve various groups of passengers including Saudi students who have been pursuing their higher studies at Canadian universities on King Abdullah Foreign Scholarship Program.\” The director general noted as well that Saudia intends \”to provide excellent services to Haj and Umrah pilgrims who come to Saudi Arabia from Canada, promote business and tourism relations and cater to the needs of transit passengers who travel by King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.\”
In other news, the carrier said it plans to launch a new flight to Los Angeles in the spring of 2014 — making it Saudia\’s third destination in the United States, after Washington and New York.
