WESTJET ENCORE ARRIVES IN TERRACE-KITIMAT
WestJet Encore’s new twice-daily, non-stop service between Vancouver and Terrace, BC launched today (Nov. 25) with a special kick-off at Vancouver International Airport and ceremony in Terrace-Kitimat’s Northwest Regional Airport. WestJet Encore has also introduced a 20% off, two-day introductory special for bookings made by Nov. 26 for travel until Dec. 15. Agents can book through the company’s travel agent site.
WestJet Encore’s newest service, using Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft, is anticipated to benefit the entire northwest region of the province. The Skeena Valley is undergoing a major economic transformation with billions of dollars in investment in forestry, mining, smelting, hydroelectricity, liquefied natural gas and infrastructure projects. The Terrace-Kitimat corridor represents an exciting expansion opportunity for WestJet\’s recently launched regional carrier, and for the many projects heading to the area.
