WestJet has introduced a new and improved Business Travel Program (BTP) in which the more a customer spends, the more they save.
And, according to officials, the program is agency-friendly, offering commission on each booking.
The benefits for agencies include: The ability to book for your clients through your preferred GDS; All bookings are in for measurement and in for payment; Program support from the Agency Sales Team and the Travel Support Team. For a limited time, for currently registered companies, agents will earn 7% commission on all new bookings made between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31 and travelled by Dec. 31. For newly registered companies, agents earn 10% commission for all new bookings made and travelled by Dec. 31.
The benefits for clients include: Competitive at-source discounts; Reports on their WestJet travel spend; Unused flight credits that can be used by all company employees.
On Oct. 1, WestJet will be launching WestJet Biz for agents. This online booking tool will allow agents to book clients’ flights, hotels and car rentals at no cost.
