WestJet has announced the six grand prize winning agents in its “Sell Your Way Away” contest.

The contest was designed as a way to thank travel agents for all of their support and hard work through the years, and a means to recognize that they have been and continue to be integral part of WestJet’s success. The contest was a great success, as more than 2,500 agents submitted more than 36,000 bookings over the contest period.

The winning agents are: Robert Long of Rose Travel in Rosetown, Sask. who won round-trip airfare for two to Las Vegas with four night’s accommodation at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino; Sally Rossnagel at American Express in Gloucester, Ont. who won round-trip airfare for two to Las Vegas with four night’s accommodation at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino; Cynthia Davidson from Travel Only in Burlington, Ont. who won round-trip airfare for two to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands with seven night’s accommodation at the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa; Kara McFarlane with Athlone Travel out of Victoria, BC who won an all-inclusive vacation package that includes round-trip airfare for two to Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba and seven night’s accommodation at Melia Las Dunas; HRG North America agent Martha Guiao from Winnipeg, Man. who won an all-inclusive vacation package that includes round-trip airfare for two to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and seven night’s accommodation at the Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa; Sandra Benezra from Loyalty One Travel in Richmond Hill, Ont. who won an all-inclusive vacation package that includes round-trip airfare for two to Riviera Maya, Mexico and seven night’s accommodation at the Grand Riviera Princess.
