Whistler Festival Celebrates Diversity, Inclusivity

Kicking off the 2020 events lineup, the annual Whistler Pride and Ski Festival returns to the resort Jan. 26 – Feb. 2.

Celebrating 28 years, the eight-day festival features a packed event schedule of skiing, snowboarding, parties, arts and culture and social events that perfectly reflect the energy and diversity of Whistler as a destination.

Distinguished as one of the biggest gay and lesbian ski weeks in North America, the Whistler Pride and Ski Festival will feature various on-mountain events such as free daily ski and snowboard guiding groups from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2 and the Annual Pride Ski Parade on Jan. 31. Down in the Village, daily après ski sessions will run from Jan. 26 – Feb. 1, along with an entertaining Night of Comedy with comedian Nicole Byer on Jan. 29, and a Saturday Night Cabaret with legendary queen Lady Bunny followed by the Snowball Closing Party on Feb. 1.
