Winners of ‘Webinar on Japan’ Prize Draws Announced
Last Wednesday, Baxter Media and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) jointly hosted a webinar for all interested travel professionals. We had travel agents and consultants from all over the world in attendance, but primarily from various cities across Canada.
Starting off the webinar was a short introductory presentation by Priscilla Portsmouth, Senior Assistant Manager of JNTO, followed by an inspiring video from Air Canada. Next up was a presentation from Adam Waxman, Journalist & a Member of the Advisory Board, Japan Tourism Agency of MLIT, and finally agents got to enjoy a panel discussion on the topic of ‘Does post-COVID tourism require new marketing strategies?’
The panel discussion was moderated by Priscilla Portsmouth and it featured insights from Rocky Racco, CEO of TTI Travel, Lauren Michell, Vice President of Marketing for G Adventures, and Joey Lanthier, Manager of Revenue Development, Asia Pacific, Air Canada.
As for the prize draws, the winner of the economy class air ticket from Air Canada was Alicia Spiers, Travel Consultant with CAA South Central Ontario.
Next up, the three winners of the $100 Visa gift card prizes have been drawn by Baxter Media. The winners are:

- Sarah Cole, CAA South Central Ontario
- Heather Lynn Callaway, Vision Travel
