CAL OPENS ‘SUPREME LOUNGE’
China Airlines (CAL) recently opened its “Supreme Lounge”on the fourth floor (controlled area) of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport’s Terminal Two. The new VIP lounge was designed based on a “Nouveau Oriental”theme and offers passengers an enhanced rest option prior to leaving Taiwan. In combination with the two western-styled VIP lounges in Terminals One and Two the opening of the Supreme Lounge will give premium China Airlines members more spacious and comfortable rest areas while helping CAL realize its commitment to continuous upgrade of passenger comfort. The new Supreme Lounge has seating for 65. The interior of the lounge displays the works of several talented Taiwanese artists. CAL has also installed Taiwan’s largest (65-inch) 3D flat screen TV, specially designed by ITRI. This 3D TV, which does not require viewers to wear 3D glasses, is an ideal platform to showcase the best of Taiwan’s cultural innovations and technical excellence. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, a public PC area, a seating area with scenic views, small-scale booth seating, a private reading area, shower facilities and massage chairs. Passengers can enjoy customized services in the Supreme Lounge, and quality dining services with a selection of Chinese and Western cuisine in addition to Taiwanese snack foods such as bubble tea, sweet potato and tea eggs. The Supreme Lounge welcomes First Class passengers and Paragon Card Members. (http://www.china-airlines.com).
