Results of the Air Transat pilots strike vote were released this morning, with 99% of pilots voting ‘Yes’ to strike if necessary. IATA reports that global passenger demand growth for October 2025 continued to accelerate, with highlights including: Total demand, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), was up 6.6% compared to October 2024. Air Canada expands its network to offer more in Summer 2026
Air Canada has further expanded its Summer 2026 global schedule to Europe with new destinations from Toronto and Montréal, plus a new European route from Halifax.
