Air Canada has announced that Montréal to Palma de Mallorca be the first brand new route to be operated by its Airbus A321 extra-long range (XLR) aircraft. In a message to its travel partners, Singapore Airlines (SQ) is advising that its codeshare with Alaska Airlines (AS) is being terminated. The termination of the codeshare between the two carriers is effective as of Oct. 1, 2025 and all SQ*AS codeshare sales for departures beyond Sept. 30, 2025 have been closed. AS will perform a schedule change on Sept. 6, 2025 for all bookings with SQ*AS sectors with departure dates from Oct. 1, 2025 onwards.
