WestJet Dispatchers File for Union Certification
On Aug. 3, the Canadian Airline Dispatchers Association (CALDA) filed an application with the Canada Industrial Relations Board to represent flight dispatchers at WestJet. The move comes shortly after WestJet's cabin crew members became unionized with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE).
