The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has extended it Conflict Zone Information Bullletin (CZIB) for the Middle East and Persian Gulf to July 1, 2026. The CZIB applies to Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia. Porter reduces fuel surcharge for reward flight bookings
Back in March, Porter introduced a temporary $40 fuel surcharge for VIPorter reward flight redemptions to offset global aviation fuel prices that had doubled. At the time, the airline said that its goal was to remove the surcharge when the price of fuel reached levels seen at the beginning of this year and now, it is moving in that direction.
