MSC Cruises and Fincantieri recently celebrated the float out of MSC Seaside, one of two new groundbreaking mega-ships that MSC will bring into service between June and December 2017. The ceremony took place at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy where the ship is being built. Carnival Awards $15,000 in Cash Prizes to Agencies
Carnival Cruise Line has awarded $15,000 in cash prizes to three travel agencies – including one from Halifax – as part of the line’s “Ultimate Cruise Night” event. One grand prize of $5,000 was originally to be awarded with two runners up receiving $2,500. However, Carnival recently surprised all three finalists by awarding them each a $5,000 grand prize. Princess To Resume Summer Caribbean Cruises
For the first time in four years, Princess Cruises will offer summer Caribbean cruises, including Panama Canal transits in 2018. The 3,192-passenger Caribbean Princess returns to sail on a full summer season of voyages ranging from seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries to a 20-day Caribbean and Panama Canal Explorer. Carnival’s Fathom Cruise Line Discontinued
