Israel Eases COVID Entry Requirements
As of May 20, all travellers flying into Israel are no longer be required to take a PCR test upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. The change will now allow for travellers to depart the airport without having to take a COVID test and quarantine – they are free to begin their vacation the minute they step off the plane. As of May 21, Israel also lifted lifted all pre-departure COVID testing requirements. Barbados Drops Testing For Vaccinated Travellers
Barbados has announced that effective May 25, 2022, fully-vaccinated travellers to the island will no longer have to take a COVID-19 test to enter the country. Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley advised that the change comes as over 70% of the eligible population in Barbados is fully vaccinated. Canadians Plan To Travel Locally This Summer
CheapOair Canada has released the results of a new poll that asked Canadians which travel destination and activities they are most looking forward to while also looking into what their top travel concerns continue to be. The study found that over 36% of Canadians listed Canada as their preferred travel destination this summer, followed by the U.S. (7.1%) and then Europe (5%).
