St. Maarten hopes to drive business with new auction site
In a move designed to drive tourism to the island, the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA) has developed and launched an auction site (http://www.stmaartenauction.com) featuring discounted hotels stays (one per month). The site went live Feb. 17 and features participating hotels that have reduced rates starting at $200 per stay. New Plaza Premium Lounge in Edmonton
Newly opened at Edmonton International Airport is a Plaza Premium Lounge, the first two-storey lounge by the company. The pay-in lounge is located in the US departures terminal at the airport. The upper floor is designed for busy travellers to have a quick bite before their flights, while the lower floor has a wider selection of food/drinks for guests with more time.
