Hilton has announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Hampton Inn by Hilton Long Beach Airport and Homewood Suites by Hilton Long Beach Airport bringing a total of 241 new rooms to the Long Beach area. The dual-brand hotel enters a market that saw its strongest year since 2008 as the city reported an estimated $300 million economic impact by overnight visitors in the last recorded year. Dominica’s Fort Young Hotel Set to Reopen
After experiencing devastation in the wake of Hurricane Maria, Fort Young Hotel, Dominica’s largest hotel, is planning to reopen Jan. 15, 2018, with 41 of its 72 rooms available for booking. The Riu Republica Adds Water Park, New Restaurants
RIU Hotels & Resorts has expanded the range of amenities of its five-star adults-only hotel on Arena Gorda Beach in Punta Cana. The Riu Republica opened a little over a year ago and the chain decided to expand its amenities by adding an exclusive water park, Splash Water World, and four new a la carte restaurants, three swimming pools and 300 new rooms.
