The BEST WESTERN PLUS South Edmonton Inn & Suites in Edmonton has received the Best Western Chairman’s Award, the hotel chain’s highest honour for outstanding quality standards. Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Lanzhou Friendship Hotel to build a hotel consisting of approximately 389 guest rooms in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province in China. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017, the Hilton Lanzhou will reside in the city’s central commercial district and provides Hilton Worldwide with greater access to China’s rapidly developing northwest China. RIU Hotels & Resorts will renovate the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco - found on Mexico's Pacific coast - starting Aug. 24.
