Atlific moves into Saskatoon
Atlific Hotels has its first management contract in the Saskatoon market with the Saskatoon Inn Hotel and Conference Center. The property became a part of the Atlific portfolio on Nov. 1, 2012. Ownership is under Temple Real Estate Investment Trust (TREIT) who requested that Atlific bring its trusted knowledge to management operations. The 250-room Saskatoon Inn is a full service hotel and conference centre with 18 meeting rooms and event space in excess of 29,000 square feet. First built in 1846, Volcano House Hotel has been fully restored and is open for business this fall. Aqua Hotels & Resorts is offering a 15% discount on best available rates for travellers who may be stranded in Hawaii by Hurricane Sandy and need to extend their stay. The discount is available at 20 participating hotels for check-in through Nov. 1. Sandals temporarily suspends Grande Riviera arrivals
Following substantial landscaping damage caused by Hurricane Sandy in the past 24 hours, Sandals Resorts International has announced the temporary suspension of new arrivals to Sandals Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort in Ocho Rios until Nov. 2 in order to undertake an extensive clean-up program.
