City Passport teams up with Contac Services

City Passport, offering destination specific guidebooks and local attraction deals, has partnered with Contac Services to offer a virtual version of its popular City Passport. The Virtual City Passport will be distributed through Contac’s existing marketing partners direct to consumers via the mywurld platform, an online itinerary platform currently being used by major airlines and travel agents, including Air Canada Vacations, WestJet Vacations and Travelport. The Virtual City Passport is a new product that allows anyone to access local destination information as well as tour and attraction deals via their computer, laptop or mobile device. It is an innovative evolution of the popular paperback version of the City Passport and represents the growing demand by consumers for digitally accessible content. The new partnership allows City Passport to leverage Contac’s growing list of travel operators currently using the mywurld platform to connect with their travel guests in real time and offer updated itinerary and destination specific content. City Passport suppliers include tour operators, Internet travel companies, conference/convention organizers and select hotel partners, which serve to maintain the company mandate of only providing the best and most exciting tours in any given city. The 2013 and 2014 destinations include Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, Calgary, Banff, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler. (http://www.contacservices.com)
