Destination Germany Unveiled

Along with 23 partners of the German tourism industry — including five state marketing organizations — the German National Tourist Board (GNTB) presents Destination Germany at the ITB Berlin NOW.

Focus of the virtual GNTB presentation is the recovery strategy for Germany’s incoming tourism during and after the Covid-19 crisis.

Petra Hedorfer, chairwoman of the GNTB Executive Board, said that: “A strong presence at the most important B2B marketplace of the international tourism industry ITB NOW 2021 is especially crucial in times of the pandemic. We are available with all markets for the key accounts of the global travel industry and for our partners of the German travel industry to advise on recent topics, recovery strategies for the Covid-19 crisis and projects for 2021. With this, we guarantee a continuous market development and offer our partners a platform for international business at the same time.”

The virtual fair presentation of the GNTB is available for interested participants on all four fair days for speed networking as well as individual and group meetings.

Beyond the presentation of Destination Germany and its own events, the GNTB is furthermore in demand as an interlocutor for panels and discussion rounds on the future of tourism at the ITB Berlin NOW convention 2021.
