Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Viacom International Media Networks have celebrated the grand opening of Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, with the five-star property throwing “a silly and sophisticated celebration that will not soon be forgotten during a sold-out week at the Dominican Republic’s most luxurious resort.”

The three-day celebration included character breakfasts with performances and photo opportunities with the likes of SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Boots, and Paw Patrol; upscale culinary experiences; and days spent at the white-sand Uvero Alto beach, oceanfront infinity pool and swim-up bar, and Nickelodeon Place.

At Character Central, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles posed for photos with kids taking a quick break from playing at the Just Kiddin’ clubhouse and Aqua Nick splash park. In addition, the occasion marked the debut of The Pineapple, the world’s first and only villa modeled after SpongeBob SquarePants’ home under the sea.

The Pineapple, which is now officially open and available for stays, features 2,292 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor living areas, including a garden, patio, signature infinity pool, and private butlers.
