Brand boosts Barbados’ all-inclusive options

Caribbean Collection Barbados says those who doubt that all-inclusive vacations are available in Barbados need only look at its holdings, which include a trio of all-inclusives.

Among its properties is Mango Bay, a smallish retreat on the west coast of Barbados and one of a growing number of all-inclusives found on an island that hasn’t gone the all-inclusive route to the same degree as some other Caribbean destinations.

“We’re starting to be known for all-inclusives, but we need help in getting the word out,” says Tracy Denman-Hughes, sales and marketing director for Caribbean Collection Barbados.

Although Mango Bay is an all-inclusive, it does suggest guests wander around the island for part of their stay, with Denman-Hughes reporting they’ll find numerous bars and restaurants nearby.
“There’s always something to do,” she states.

Mango Bay is an Air Canada Vacations exclusive. Guests will find 76 guest rooms, each with a patio or balcony. Rooms have the likes of air-conditioning, cable TV, electronic safes, hairdryers, direct-dial phones, and beach towels.

Mango Bay’s restaurant features both open-air and air-conditioned dining. There are BBQ nights.

Also included are catamaran cruises, scuba diving demos, glass-bottom boat rides, mini gym, a pool, lounge with a computer, Internet access in public areas, water skiing, Hobie Cat sailing, paddleboats, snorkelling and kayaking.

Available at an added cost are boat trips, golf, a spa, horse racing, and a trip to popular Oistins.

Another Caribbean Collection Barbados option is the Island Inn Hotel, a 24-unit property found within the Garrison area – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Guests will find the Boardwalk Restaurant, which serves local and international cuisine, and a conference facility.

A third Caribbean Collection Barbados option is The Sands, found on Barbados’ south coast. It has a restaurant; BBQ nights; a roof deck restaurant open for dinner
only; two bars; a gym; pool; water sports; WiFi; a free scuba lesson in the pool; snorkelling; and bodyboards.
